Why Fly?

What is the Benefits of having agrivision fly your fields?

Before

AgriVision flew this field as a scouting method for this farmer and noticed that the section of the field that normally yields higher was showing red on the multispectral maps. A week later, the soybeans were showing signs of distress, which ended up being a manganese deficiency. Below is the map of before spraying the needed fertilizer.

After

After discovering it was a manganese deficiency, the farmer quickly applied a foliar feed that included manganese for the soybeans. Below is a picture of after spraying. By finding the problem through the drone, the farmer was able to fix a nutrient problem that could have affected the overall yield in that field.

By allowing AgriVision to provide faster and more accurate scouting, the farmer can make more informed decisions about fertilizer application in season to make sure the crops are growing the best they possibly can.

The human eye can only detect certain wavelengths coming from the sun. The multispectral camera can detect even more, which means it can detect potential issues and problems in the field before the human eye can. AgriVision is capable of flying at certain growth stages to ensure the farmer’s crops are growing at maximum potential and the issues are detected immediately.
